No. The package includes only the dynamic VW LED emblem and the connection cable.

When installing the 4th Generation dynamic VW LED emblem, do I need to replace any other parts?

No. To install our 4th Generation dynamic VW LED emblem, you only need to replace the original emblem.
No other vehicle parts need to be modified or replaced.

Why is the 4th Generation dynamic VW LED emblem compatible with ACC / emergency braking radar?

The key factor is the thickness of the emblem.

• The new Generation has a thickness of approximately 7 mm
• Older generations measured 20 to 24 mm, which prevented the radar signal from passing properly through the LED emblem

Due to this excessive thickness, older versions could interfere with radar functionality, which is why their installation was not recommended on vehicles equipped with ACC.

Thanks to its ultra-thin design, the new 4th Generation  now allows the radar signal to pass through without interference, making the emblem fully compatible with ACC / emergency braking radar.
